ALDERSHOT TOWN 2, BRISTOL ROVERS 2

THIS was undoubtedly the best game of the season at the Electrical Services Stadium as Aldershot fought back to earn a point against Bristol Rovers and very nearly beat the strong contenders for an immediate return to the Football League.
In a breathless sequence inside the last two minutes, Jordan Roberts hit the crossbar either side of two brilliant saves by Steve Mildenhall, the Bristol goalkeeper.
Then, in injury time, Phil Smith pulled off an even better save at the other end to deny Rovers the winner – it was that sort of game.
