OAP rider hurt

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner riding a motorcycle came off the A3, near Milford, suffering serious injuries, last week.

The rider, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital with suspected leg and head injuries, after coming off the northbound carriageway opposite the Webb Road junction at around midday on May 10.

Sergeant Adam Dedman, from Surrey Police Roads Policing Unit, said: “If you witnessed the incident or the manner of driving prior to the collision please get in touch with us. Any information you have could help us establish the circumstances around the collision.”
