Two burglars have stolen more than £4,000 worth of tools following a break-in at a business park near Horndean.

Hampshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses as a range of Hilti appliances were stolen during an overnight burglary at Catherington Business Park on August 9 and 10.

A core drill, vacuum pump, adaptors, stand and core drill bit were among the items stolen from business premises and storage containers off Catherington Lane sometime between 10pm and 2am.

The suspects may have left the business park via fencing to the south of the site, before getting away via Catherington Lane or Crouch Lane.

Police have described the first suspect as a while male who was wearing a dark-coloured scarf with yellow Karcher logos.

Further items included a dark coloured Slazenger hooded top, red or orange gloves, grey Nike tracksuit bottoms with a hole in the front upper left leg and grey Nike trainers.

The second suspect was wearing a dark hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.

“We would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, including anyone of the above descriptions,” said a spokesperson for Hampshire Police.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles, in the Catherington Lane, Crouch Lane, and Roads Hill area that evening, especially between the hours of 10pm to 2am.”

Police would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered any of the distinctive stolen tools, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time.
