HINDHEAD Road was looking spick-and-span after a team of litter-pickers descended on it on Sunday, November 19. 

Eleven volunteers, including residents from Nutcombe Lane and Lion Green areas and Haslemere town Cllrs Serena Austin and Claire Matthes and Waverley Borough Cllr Julian Spence, bagged ten bags of litter between them.

Litter-picking equipment is available to borrow from the Haslemere Town Council. Email [email protected] if you are interested in keep the town litter free.
