GREEN-FINGERED members of Wey Hill in Bloom have brought a dash of colour to the busy junction by Lion Green.

Thanks to Tesco Bags of Help community funding initiative, large planters have been purchased and decked out by the group’s volunteers with eye-catching floral displays now adorning the railings by the traffic lights.

Over the last 12 years, Wey Hill in Bloom’s team of volunteers has helped transform the town with its strategic and colourful plantings.

Jim Edwards, a founder member, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to all at Tesco for their amazingly generous support and to all the shoppers whose blue disk donations helped to make this happen.”
