Community-minded residents have been urged to take part in a clean-up fit for a king by members of a Petersfield watchdog.

It’s time to take out the trash as the Petersfield Society will launch its Clean Up for the Coronation scheme next Sunday (April 30).

Prospective volunteers should meet at 2pm at Petersfield Methodist Church to let organisers know what part of the town they would like to clean up.

Volunteers will have ten days to tidy up their patch, with equipment and refreshments being provided at the opening get-together.

There will also be a group litter pick on the day, weather permitting. For more details or to register an interest email [email protected]

The Petersfield Society has plenty of experience as the group has held regular clean-ups of the town and its surrounding villages for seven years.
