ST PETER’S Primary School has been awarded Surrey Young Carers’ Angel Award for its support for the school’s young carers.

St Peter’s held a special assembly to celebrate young carers in the school. Surrey Young Carers education advisor for south-west, Petrina Foster, joined the assembly to present the award.

In the assembly, members of the young carers’ club at St Peter’s talked about how they help their families.
