FAOS Musical Theatre Group invites you to join them for a spine-chilling, pun-filled performance of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Farnham Maltings next week.

This macabre musical, adapted for the Broadway stage with music and lyrics by the master of the darkly comedic, Stephen Sondheim, promises to be a hair-raising experience you won't soon forget.

Enjoying a four-day run at the Maltings from Tuesday, January 24 to Saturday, January 28, and set in the gritty streets of Victorian London, this tale of love, murder, and revenge will have you on the edge of your seat.

Todd, fresh off his return from deportation and imprisonment in Australia, is ready to exact his bloody revenge.

A chance encounter with Mrs Lovett in her East End pie shop leads to a deadly partnership and a plan that is equal parts humorous and chilling.

Don't miss your chance to experience this award-winning musical, with its complex harmony, soaring beauty, pitch-black comedy, and stunning terror, all set to Sondheim's most perfect score.

Performances are at 7.30pm each night plus a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday.

And, if you attend the Thursday performance, you'll not only be supporting the arts, but also a worthy cause. £4 from each ticket sold will be donated to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, which provides hospice care to adult patients and their families living with cancer or another terminal illness across West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire.

So, come one, come all, to the Farnham Maltings for a night of macabre delight, but beware the razor's edge.

Tickets (£18 adults, £13 under-16s and students) are available from the Maltings here, with pre-show dining also available for an additional £12.50.
