HASLEWEY Community Centre in the heart of Haslemere celebrated its 20th anniversary with an open day fayre last Saturday.

The event was officially opened by Haslemere mayor, Jerome Davidson, and introduced by Haslemere’s town crier, Christian Ashdown.

The Haslewey team served a cornucopia of cakes, savoury goods and homemade chutneys from the centre cafe together with a barbecue which was kindly sponsored by Haslemere Tesco.

Along with live music there were 24 stalls showcasing some amazing local businesses and their products, including the Haslemere Players promoting their October production, Calendar Girls.
