HASLEWEY Community Centre in Wey Hill is holding a Community Friendship Supper. The free event could become a monthly fixture after the first one is held by The Orchard Club, on Monday, March 21, (5-7pm).
The aim is to reach out to the most vulnerable and isolated people in the community and bring them together under one roof to enjoy a hot meal, and to meet other people.
So if you suffer from loneliness, are struggling financially or are ex-service personnel struggling to cope with civilian life, there’s no need to book.
Just turn up – bring a friend or make some new ones.
Call (01428) 648716 for details.
