MOORLANDS Lodge Avery Care Home in Hindhead recently hosted its first ever Christmas Market on Saturday, December 2. 

The home was transformed into a winter wonderland, full of decorations, Christmas trees and sparkling lights. Haslemere mayor Jerome Davidson officially opened the event. 

Stalls, reflexology treatments, a hog roast and a Christmas café serving chocolate logs, mince pies and mulled wine were all on offer.

The residents voted for the air ambulance to receive the profits from the event, with the donation to be made when the raffle tickets are drawn on December 18.
