An historic school in the Haslemere area will celebrate a milestone by opening its doors to the public.
Camelsdale Primary School will warm-up for its 122nd birthday by holding an Open Afternoon from 2pm to 4pm this Sunday, September 13.
The school was the first to be opened by West Sussex County Council with its inaugural pupils being welcomed on September 14, 1904.
“Alumni pupils and their families, current parents and their families and prospective families are all welcome to explore the school and its grounds,” said a spokesperson for the school.
Visitors will be given guided tours by members of the Year 6 cohort while afternoon tea will also be available. No booking required, simply pop along and see.
