PLANS to develop the King Edward VII Hospital site have been given the thumbs down by South Downs National Park Authority's head of planning.

Jim Redwood made his report to the committee ahead of its meeting on Monday to decide whether or not to approve the applications by City and Country for the site near Midhurst.
