YEAR five pupils of Shottermill Junior School spent a day in the life of an archaeologist during the school's Egyptian day.

The children donned their trowels to perform an

artificial dig and looked at various Egyptian artefacts throughout the day. Later, they all made their own

mummies and sarcophaguses.
