1. MOTHER'S DAY PLANTING WEEKEND at Squire’s Garden Centre (March 9-11):
Children can create homemade Mother’s Day gifts this weekend at Squire’s Garden Centres.
They can plant a trug with four beautiful plants and then decorate with a bow.
There is also a free flower maze activity sheet, where children can help Hazel the Squirrel find her way out of the paper maze.
They’ll receive a sticker once the maze is completed.

2. BUTSER ANCIENT FARM (Sunday, March 11, 2pm-4pm):
Get your mum out and about this Mother’s Day with a trip back in time at this archaeological site.
You can visit the prehistoric houses and enjoy the warmth of the crackling fire, while the surrounding landscape begins to wake up for spring.
Children can decorate a keyring for their mum from 2pm and visit the Roman villa, where there’s a chance to dress up.
Then, head to the Iron Age roundhouse and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea at 3pm.

3. MOTHER'S DAY IN HOGMOOR INCLOSURE (Saturday, March 10, 1pm-3pm):
The Hogmoor Inclosure in Bordon is holding a free event on Saturday to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Hosted in conjunction with Deadwater Valley Trust, there will be lots of activities to get the whole family involved.
From card making to biscuit decorating, and parachute games to basket making, there’s plenty going on to make this day memorable.

4. MOTHER'S DAY AT BIRDWORLD (Sunday, March 11, 10am-3.30pm):
On Mothering Sunday, mums can enter the park for free with one other full paying person.
All you have to do is print off the ‘Mums Go Free’ voucher and present it at the admissions counter when purchasing tickets.
Please note though that this voucher is not valid with online tickets, Annual Passes, Tesco vouchers, or any other offer.

5. MOVIES IN THE PLANETARIUM: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Saturday, March 10, 8.40am-approx 11am):
Head down to the Winchester Science Centre and treat your mum to an early film screening in the planetarium.
Doors will open to Jedi at 8.40am with the film starting at 8.50am.
The approximate finish time is 11am, when you can then make your way around the exhibition until 5pm.
There is a PG (Parental Guidance) age rating on the film, so the minimum age to attend without an accompanying adult is 12 years.

6. CAKE DECORATING & SUGARCRAFT EXHIBITION (March 10-11):
The Squires Kitchen’s 2018 Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft Exhibition is taking place this weekend at Farnham Maltings.
Each year, thousands of cake lovers come to this event to be inspired by incredible displays, leading designers and the launch of innovative new products.
With experts on hand, you can learn how to achieve perfectly iced cakes, cake-top figures, professional-standard chocolates and much more.
There will also be live demonstrations from leading names, such as Mark Tilling who was the champion of the first series of BBC2’s ‘Bake Off: Crème de la Crème’, and talented sugar artist and pastry chef Carlos Lischetti.
7. MOTHER'S DAY AT FLIP OUT (Sunday, March 11, all day):
Bounce your way down to Basingstoke this weekend and enjoy a ‘flippin’ good Mothering Sunday.
Flip Out is more than just a trampoline park, with stunt box zones, ball games, resident DJs and lots of special events.
There’s even the country’s first ‘Ninja Tag’ assault course, which is a great adventure for the whole family.
This Sunday, mums get a free one hour jump when they’re accompanied by their children.
8. FLORAL WORKSHOP FOR MOTHER'S DAY (Saturday, March 10, 10am-12pm):
The Fox pub in Lower Bourne is hosting one of Nicola Andrews’ floral workshops this Saturday, so you can get creative and take home a gift for your mum.
Nicola is a qualified florist who specialises in creating floral designs for weddings.
The workshop will take place in the upstairs dining room, where you will be provided with materials, tools and refreshments.

9. LIVE MUSIC NIGHT AT THE FARNHAM POTTERY (Friday, March 9, 8.15pm-11pm):
Kick off the weekend by taking your mum to this music night, filled with county, indie and acoustic music.
There will be performances from Jim Cozens Music, Blackwood Creek Music, Claudia Stark and Soph & Cam.
You can also bring along your favourite drink.
The reservation list is now full but tickets are available on the door for only £5.
This will be on a first come first served basis, so people are being advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
10. ALTON CRAFT AND FARMER'S MARKET (Saturday, March 10):
If you’re heading into Alton this Saturday, pop along to the craft market and farmers’ market.
The craft market is taking place between 10am and 3pm and is run in conjunction with the Alton Lions Club.
The artisan ‘Made by Me’ craft market is located off the High Street and all goods on sale are made by the stall holders.
There’s a choice of cards, pottery, wood work, glass and much more.
The Alton Farmers’ Market allows you to enjoy a great range of Hampshire food and drink.
Everything is reared, grown, baked, caught and brewed in Hampshire, and you can savour anything from buffalo meat to ice cream, wine to chutney, cakes to preserves and so much more.
