Waverley's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm July 10 to 6am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 8pm July 14 to 6am July 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook to Hazel Grove, Lane closures for inspection works.

A3, from 9pm July 17 to 6am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for drainage works, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 9pm July 17 to 6am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford to Thursley, Slip and lane closure for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
