ALTON Hockey Club will be running ‘Back to Hockey’ sessions this summer for anyone aged over 13 who would like to either try hockey for the first time, or get back into it.

The sessions will take place on Monday evenings (7-8pm) at Lord Wandsworth College, starting on Monday, May 14.

Players will have the chance to work on their fitness with no pressure to be of any particular standard.

The cost will be £5 per night, or £25 for the six-week course.

The ‘Back to Hockey’ campaign was launched by England Hockey following the success of Great Britain Women at the last two Olympics, culminating in their gold medal in 2016, one of the stars being Alex Danson who started her career at Alton Hockey Club.
