MAKE a date on Saturday (March 14) to support Haslemere Fire Station’s fundraiser for two good causes, which should also go down a treat with junior family members.

Firefighters are holding a charity car wash in Haslemere Tesco car park from 11am to 3pm.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Firefighters Charity, which helps everyday heroes recover their lives, and the Aching Arms baby loss charity for bereaved parents.

Crew member Josh Berry said: “We will be bringing the fire engine with us, which gives the children a chance to have a look around and take some photos.”
