THE battle for more flights at Dunsfold Aerodrome intensified this week with the submission of two more legal bids to lift all restrictions.
A 10-day planning inquiry opens at Waverley offices on Tuesday to decide whether to grant Dunsfold Park's application for a Certificate of Lawfulness for unrestricted aviation at the airfield, which was refused by the borough council last summer.
The site is currently capped at 5,000 flight movements a year but wants to increase the limit to 25,000.
