Alton Ramblers

Wednesday, February 15: Hinton Ampner and Joan’s Acre Wood. A 6.4-mile walk at 10am from Hinton Ampner National Trust car park (SU595275). Leader, Linda N (07970 904450).

Sunday, February 19: Thursley and Witley Commons. A 9½-mile walk at 9.30am from Thursley Recreation Ground (SU899398). Leader, Lynn (01420 474881).

Long Distance Walkers’ Association

Sunday February 26: A Venture into the Wilds of North Hampshire. 8.45am from lay-by on A30 near North Waltham (SU574459), 17 miles with pub lunch at The Fox, Ellisfield. Leader, Nigel Pickett (07745 028134).

Alton Wellbeing Walks (formerly Walking for Health)

Tuesday, February 7, 14, 21 and 28: Alton Wellbeing Walks are friendly, sociable walks of no more than three miles at a gentle pace every Tuesday morning.
