And while the venue will be their permanent home, a further array of businesses will be part of a weekly market, launching at The Shed’s opening day this Saturday (May 29).
The venue will open its doors from 9am to 11pm, promising plenty of opportunity for visitors to take a look around at what it has to offer.
“It seems that every few weeks another fantastic facility is opened in the town, delivering on the partnership’s vision and ambition.
“The Shed is the latest exciting new venue for the town, and I look forward to seeing it busy and buzzing.”
Visitors will be spoilt for choice with food, beverage and retail at The Shed.
There’s Thai and Japanese cuisine from Siam Oishi on offer, Mexican food from Hermanos Tacos and burgers from Boigers, followed by treats from Dylan’s Ice Cream or Crane Patisserie.
There will also be a deli shop, bike specialists Cycle Sphere, arts and crafts in The Crafty Shed, hand-made gifts from Oak Tree & Acorn and zero-waste shop FillUp.
Rupert James, one half of the Hermanos duo, said: “The Shed will turn Whitehill & Bordon into a destination.
“People will have a great reason to come and eat and shop and relax in a nice environment with lots to do.
“We are excited about becoming part of a local hub of business owners who can come together and trade good food, events and services side by side.”
Whitehill Town Council leader and Whitehill, Bordon and Lindford county councillor Andy Tree said: “The opening of the Shed marks another milestone in delivery of a new town centre and I am very excited to see it open and sample what the businesses have to offer.”
The Shed can be found at Sergeants Yard, Bordon, GU35 0DJ, and there is on-site parking, with an overflow car park open for the bank holiday weekend.
