HASLEMERE Educational Museum staged some events linked to the British Museum Spotlight Loan Troy: Beauty & Heroism exhibition.

At one event, both children and adults enjoyed making clay plaques or shields, taking inspiration from Greek pottery.

Jan Hite, a local ceramicist, led sessions where participants used different coloured clay slips to create images on clay. These will then be fired.

Families also came to the museum to make ships and horses – both integral parts of the Trojan war story.
