A NEW exhibition has launched at UCA Farnham’s Hockey Gallery featuring staff and students’ artistic responses to the challenges of climate change.

’Coming Up For Air’, is an exhibition of original and innovative work that explores air pollution, supported by Surrey County Council and timed to coincide with the COP26 summit on climate change in Glasgow.

BA and MA fine art students and staff from the University for the Creative Arts have responded to the opportunities that a more sustainable relationship with our surroundings and natural environment offer.

A UCA Farnham spokesman said: "A high volume of car usage effects our air quality and contributes to the climate emergency and the warming of the planet.

"One way to combat this is through more active sustainable travel such as walking, cycling, and electric vehicle usage."

The exhibition runs till Thursday, November 18, open daily from 10am. For more information visit: www.uca.ac.uk/campuses/galleries/james-hockey-and-foyer-galleries
