Stagecoach South has urged charities and community groups across Haslemere and the wider region to apply for funding through its Community Grants programme.

The initiative offers grants of up to £500 to support projects focused on health and wellbeing, young people, skills and employment, tackling loneliness and social isolation, and improving accessibility and opportunity.

The scheme forms part of Stagecoach’s wider sustainability work and is overseen by its “Giving for Good” charity committee, which decides where funding can have the greatest local impact.

Applications are submitted online and reviewed on the first Wednesday of each month. Groups must apply by the last Friday of the previous month to be considered.

Marc Reddy, Managing Director of Stagecoach South, said: “If you’re a local organisation making a difference in our communities, especially in supporting children, young people, or health and wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.”
