THE Dunsfold Park new town public inquiry opened to a mass of placards on Tuesday as protesters gathered outside the Waverley Borough Council offices in Godalming.
A planning application for a new 2,600-home settlement at Dunsfold was refused planning permission by Waverley's Joint Planning Committee in September last year. The application was appealed by Dunsfold Park Ltd on 10 grounds and will be heard at the public inquiry.
