MAJOR concerns have been expressed by Waverley organisations and individuals who have responded to the borough council's consultation on where to build up to 470 new homes per year.

More than 2,000 feedback forms had been processed and there were many more in the pipeline, as The Herald went to press on Wednesday, two days before the conclusion of the public consultation setting out four possible scenarios to deliver the estimated 8,500 new homes Waverley needs by 2031.

Waverley's touring trailer exhibitions also attracted more than 1,600 people, with 181 visitors last Saturday when it came to Haslemere.
