SPECIAL guest at Camelsdale Primary School was West Sussex school fire officer Simon Woodland, who met pupils as part of their ‘personal, social , health and citizenship learning journey’.

Mr Woodland described what the fire service does and how to be safe near fire.

Headteacher Sarah Palmer said: “The fire service annual visit is an important part of the children’s learning journey. They certainly enjoyed dressing up and some important fire safety messages were learnt. A big thank-you must go to the West Sussex Fire Service.”
