JUNIOR visitors enjoyed putting their stamp on some half-term fun at Haslemere Museum during a family arts session.
Colouring and design activities celebrating the postage stamp were on offer and visitors came to the conclusion there have been stamps for just about everything.
The children also enjoyed doing quizzes and word searches and made envelope photo frames and cards using some of the many used stamps provided.
Museum education officer Kay Topping said: “I think some of the most fun for children and parents was just going through the loose stamps to see what different images there were.”
Further half-term holiday activities, included members of the HYPE team – the museum’s group for secondary-aged young people – going in to see the first edit of the film they are currently working on.
On Thursday members of the Museum Explorers group – aged five to 11 – enjoyed making pictures using silhouettes of themselves.
The sunny spring weather also attracted visitors to the galleries to step outside to have a stroll around the museum grounds, which include a bee observation house and a pond, as well as a woodland garden.
