MORE than 100 enthusiasts flocked to Haslemere Museum on a rainy Tuesday during half term for a ‘Fantastic Flags’ workshop.

Families enjoyed a morning with the museum’s education officer, Kay Topping, discovering more about flags from around the world, doing a quiz to test their knowledge, and creating their very own flag.

“It was lovely to see so many families learning and being creative together,” Kay said.

“The children had a great time and it is always so rewarding to be able to teach them little bits of information while they are having fun creating.”
