AS part of national heart month Guildford’s Royal Surrey County Hospital is holding a free, informal health event, next week.
Led by consultant cardiologist Dr Michael Hickman, it will cover how to look after your heart, the symptoms to look out for and how to effectively manage common conditions.
“Each year Royal Surrey organises a programme of free health events which are open to patients, staff and the public,” said trust governor and and membership committee chairman Jerry Ogilvie.
“Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer and looking after your heart is vital to living a long and healthy life.

The event takes place at Surrey Sports Park, on Thursday, February 23, from 2-4pm. Free parking and refreshments will be available.
