A GRAND total of 26 Grayshott gardens, including the village school and two allotments, opened to the public on Saturday and Sunday during the last Bank Holiday Weekend.
Visitors also enjoyed a photographic exhibition by Ludshott Photographic Club at St Luke’s Church and children could search for the china bulldogs hidden as part of a competition sponsored by Grayshott Pottery.
The Hidden Gardens of Grayshott event is held every two years to raise money for community projects and village estate agents Warren Powell Richard supported the 2017 opening.
Event committee member Vanessa Thompson (pictured) invited visitors in to enjoy her walled garden with croquet lawn, rhododendron walk, woodland, orchard, meadow and pond, which also features a model railway. Her plant sale also proved to be one of the most popular of the weekend.
