THE Royal Surrey County Hospital was criticised this week for profiting from the "unacceptable" sale of NHS drugs abroad.
An investigation by the Health Service Journal revealed the hospital made £300,000 profit from the sale of drugs intended for British patients last year – even though the Department for Health had previously advised the trust to put an end to the sales.
