THE Royal Surrey County Hospital has been named as one of 21 NHS trusts that have failed to uphold Government hygiene standards following registration with a new healthcare regulator.
The Care Quality Commission commended the majority of the UK's 388 NHS trusts for improving infection control when it published the results of a national assessment last Friday.
