THE Rural Play Project (RAPP) brought half term fun to Grayshott on Monday when a team of East Hampshire District Council play leaders organised some magical activities for youngsters.

The team visited Grayshott Primary School for a “messy pigs” day which included making face masks and painting money boxes with a fiarytale theme, based on characters from Disney film Shrek.

Two teams from East Hampshire’s Rural Area Play Project and Get Actvi8d were out and about across the district, visiting Lindford, Grayshott, Whitehill, Greatham, Alton, Liphook, Buriton, Petersfield and Clanfield.

Lisa Clements, co-ordinator for the scheme, which is in its 10th year, said: “The idea is to get children out and active during the school holidays and give them a chance to do something they might not do at home.”
