Heartstart Farnham Lions will launch its new season of free life-saving skills classes on September 28 – the first since celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Would you know what to do in a health emergency? The Heartstart course will give you the skills and confidence to act, so that, if called upon, you could be a lifesaver.
Courses are held on Wednesday evenings at the new venue – upstairs at The Ball and Wicket pub, Farnham Road, Holt Pound, Surrey GU10 4LA.
All start at 7pm and last between two and two-and-a-half hours. There is free parking in the pub car park.
Dates are now available for autumn 2022 as follows:
September 28;
October 12 and 19;
November 2, 16 and 30.
The course is free but donations are welcome. Find out more at www.heartstartfarnhamlions.co.uk
There is an online booking form; alternatively, email [email protected] or ring Jo on 07793 273941.
Since its formation ten years ago, Heartstart Farnham Lions has grown from small beginnings with a few trainers to a thriving scheme which runs twice-monthly classes and takes training out to community groups and schools. So far, 1,534 people have undertaken the formal training.
