AN application for nine new homes on land at Bowlhead Green in Thursley following the demolition of existing buildings has been put forward for discussion.
The site location, Uplands Stud in Bowlhead Green Road, is currently home to a mixture of commercial, equestrian and residential buildings, which lies within the Metropolitan Green Belt.
However, the application by Uplands Stud LLP states that it was confirmed in the pre-application stage that the site is previously-developed (brownfield) land.
If granted these existing buildings will be demolished to make way for the nine homes, which will be a mixture of seven four-bedroom houses and two five-bedroom houses, with eight car ports and one garage.
Six houses will have double car ports, two will have single car ports and one will have a single built-in garage – driveway parking will also be provided for all houses.
