A CAMPAIGN for a new pedestrian crossing outside Haslemere museum has been dashed by councillors.
Baroness Virginia Bottomley and Haslemere MP Jeremy Hunt added their support to the campaign for safer access to the museum in June, but a spokesman for the county council confirmed this week that another crossing in High Street is "not considered a priority by local town, county and borough councillors".
