MILLIONAIRE Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt, the Tory MP for South West Surrey, came under fire this week for putting in a claim for 27p in expenses for two trips in his constituency, barely more than half a mile long.
The claim for journeys made on December 11, was revealed in the latest round-up by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), set up to monitor claims by MPs following the 2009 expenses scandal.
Figures reveal Energy and Climate Change Secretary Amber Rudd, claimed the same amount for a short car trip in her Sussex constituency on November 13.
