AN under-age youth was sold alcohol at two pubs in Waverley during a test purchase exercise carried out by West Surrey Police, in conjunction with Surrey County Council and Trading Standards.

The teenager took part in the operation which saw him attempt to buy alcohol in six pubs across the borough last month.
