A SCHEME to relieve pressure on the "stretched" ambulance service has been launched in Haslemere.

The town's Community First Responders group is made up of volunteers trained by South East Coast Ambulance Service and will cover Haslemere and surrounding villages in Surrey, including Grayswood, Hindhead, and parts of Grayshott.
