THERE is still time for people to sign up to receive meals from Hampshire County Council’s Meals on Wheels service during the festive period, including a turkey Christmas lunch with all the trimmings.

Meals on Wheels, provided by Apetito, have delivered 396,000 meals and 25,500 afternoon teas to Hampshire’s residents over the last 12 months.

Anyone aged 55 years or over who finds it difficult to prepare their own food because of ill health or disability can order Meals on Wheels from one to seven days per week.
