ALL year one and two pupils at Haslemere’s St Bartholomew’s Primary School had the chance to shine in a new version of the Nativity.
Enjoying their Christmas crackers, mince pies, Christmas cake, presents and a beautifully decorated tree, the children feel something is missing and set off on an eventful journey to meet Baby Jesus.
Highlights included an encounter with an “abaaandoned” sheep doing the tango in Strictly Come Dancing style, and bumping into three kings in the desert.
School spokesman Jackie Chiodaroli said: “All 120 children worked with joy and enthusiasm to bring an important Christmas message to us all, as they welcomed Baby Jesus.”
