Anyone interested in discussing Christianity and the meaning of life is invited to a new series of weekly sessions in Hale, near Farnham.

Five 90-minute sessions in the Questioning Faith series are being held throughout this month at The Rectory, 25 Upper Hale Road, every Wednesday from 7.30 pm.

They are being run by the Rev Lesley Crawley of the Parish of Badshot Lea and Hale.

‘‘No question is too small, too daft, or too controversial to ask, and everyone is welcome whatever their beliefs,’’ the Rev Crawley said.

‘‘After the course there will be the opportunity to be confirmed into the Anglican Church at Easter in Guildford Cathedral, though this is, of course, optional,’’ she added.

The first session, on January 3, was called ‘‘Who exactly is Jesus?’’ and covered why is he so important that we remember him 2,000 years after his birth.
