A BIKE worth an estimated £3,000 was stolen during a spate of a burglaries in Steep early on Tuesday.

Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage as several garages and outbuildings at The Island were broken into during the period.

Stolen items included a black Giant TCR Advancer Pro pushbike with a green GIANT logo on the frame.
