HASLEMERE Town Council will hold its annual town meeting for residents, at The Georgian Hotel, High Street, this week.

During the meeting, on Wednesday, March 23, which is open to everyone, a report of the town council’s work during the past 12 months is given, and medals will be presented to people from Haslemere and surrounding villages who have made a special contribution to the community.

The Haslemere volunteer awards are presented by an independent panel and the medals are donated by Sir Ray Tindle, proprietor of The Herald.

The meeting is from 7-9pm.
