MORE potholes have appeared on roads after recent frost and winter weather, adding to complaints and maintenance bills faced by county highways departments.
Stocks of salt used to grit roads in icy conditions, running low in some counties, plus critisisms that salt bins for residential roads have not been topped up, are being faced by cash-strapped authorities.
