Bramshott and Liphook residents are one step closer to having their views on future housing developments in the area heard by East Hampshire District Council (EHDC).

The Bramshott and Liphook Neighbourhood Plan (BLNDP) has now been submitted to EHDC for consultation. The plan will help shape the area by bringing together residents, businesses, landowners and developers.

Louise Bevan, chair of the BLNDP Steering Group said: “Whilst an NDP cannot prevent future development it is an important tool in seeking to ensure, amongst other things, that development which does take place meets the needs of the community, protects the environment and is consistent with the character of the local area.”

But it is not too late to have your say. A six-week consultation period will run from March 11 to 5pm on April 22. View the plan at easthants.gov.uk, or see the hard copy at Liphook Library and the Liphook Millennium Centre.
