THE MERRY Harriers village inn, Hambledon, has announced the appointment of a new general manager and head chef at their unique establishment.
Owners Peter and Lana de Savary said they were “delighted” to announce the new appointment of Jake Andreou as general manager and David Totterdell as head chef.
The duo share more than 50 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, with Jake graduating from the De Ve Hotels training programme, and David serving as head chef in multiple luxury hotels and banqueting halls.
The de Savarys also said they would “like to thank Danielle and Sam Montgomery-Page for their support in managing the Merry Harriers since they took ownership” adding that they “look forward to handing over the reigns to the new team”.
The Merry Harriers host a traditional village inn, with luxury accommodation and the unique activity of llama trekking throughout Hambledon.
