This month Gallery No.30 in Petersfield High Street is hosting the Celebration of Life exhibition curated by Marnie Glue.

Marnie said: “It showcases the work of local artists created in a variety of mediums and themes that we think encourage a more positive outlook on life in post-lockdown and the current cost-of-living crisis.

“The gallery aims to provide artists with an opportunity to share their art with a range of audiences and to start a dialogue surrounding the importance of artistic expression.

“We hope this exhibition sheds some light on the amount of local talent we are surrounded by and will inspire creativity in others.

“Our successful preview night hosted on January 13 enabled artists to meet and discuss artwork, share their practice and enjoy a lovely evening with like-minded people.

“We have awarded Harrison Jones and Emma Drake prizes for their wonderful creativity and are looking for our third place people’s choice artist.

“The exhibition ends on Monday, January 30, so not long left!

“Pop in and check out the artwork, vote for your favourites and maybe even enjoy a spot to eat from our delicious selection of cakes and lunch menu.”
