HASLEMERE is going to town with its first official Christmas lights switch-on tonight night (Friday) at 6pm.

Stepping Out stage show actress Jessica-Alice McLusky will flick the switch outside the town hall while shops in the town will stay open late.

Beacon Hill Light Brigade step into action on Sunday (November 27) with their switch-on, which will be the highlight of Beacon Hill Christmas Market (2.30- 5.30pm) and features a visit from Santa and the Cookie Bar Bus plus Haslemere Town Band.
